ASPCA Grants $4,600 to PawsWatch

Funds help expand TNR (trap-neuter-return) of feral cats through Volunteer Recruitment Campaign

The ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) has
awarded a grant of $4,600 to PawsWatch Feral Cat Rescue of Rhode Island, which will be used to fund a Volunteer Recruitment Campaign to help expand TNR (trap-neuter-return)
services throughout the state. The grant funding will help cover the costs of volunteer recruitment
including marketing, advertising, training and equipment (traps and recovery cages.) PawsWatch is
the only organization solely dedicated to providing a humane solution for the feral cat population in Rhode Island.

RHODE ISLAND FOUNDATION
$25,000.00

The Rhode Island Foundation was founded in 1916, is one of the oldest and largest community foundations in the country, and is the only community foundation serving the state of Rhode Island.

The Rhode Island Foundation is a proactive community and philanthropic leader dedicated to
meeting the needs of the people of Rhode Island.
